2011 Sponsorship Opportunities For GreenWorks and the Idaho Green Expo
Event Sponsorship is a mutually beneficial partnership. Sponsorship provides businesses, organizations, products and services with enhanced visibility among those who attend the Expo as well as to a much larger audience leading up to the event. At the same time, Sponsors provide the cash and in-kind support necessary for us to reach an increasingly broad audience and offer a quality event. Can Anyone Be A Sponsor? The simple answer to that question is maybe. Our preference will be to obtain Sponsors that include companies whose products, services and/or operations have (or will soon have) appreciably reduced environmental impacts, and move in the direction of long-term sustainability. However, we understand that many companies, although very supportive of the "green" movement, are either not in the business of selling green products or services, or have not yet been able to make significant changes in their operations. For those companies, we would ask that with their support of GreenWorks and the Idaho Green Expo, they provide us with the green message they want to convey to the general public by their association and support of our organization. Government or nonprofit organizations whose objectives are consistent with GreenWorks and the Idaho Green Expo are also encouraged to be Sponsors. Sponsors that demonstrate a commitment to the Idaho Green Expo's goals will be the most desirable. Sustaining Sponsorships For no additional cost, any Sponsor can also be a “Sustaining Sponsor”. By doing so, your organization will gain additional exposure – throughout the year - as you become a partner with GreenWorks in our attempts to promote green businesses, help existing businesses become “greener” and to educate Idahoans on how to live more sustainable lives. The Sustaining Sponsor Program is very simple. If your organization signs up to be a Sponsor (at any level) and begins to make payments on that Sponsorship before September 30th, your Sustaining Sponsorship benefits will begin in October and will extend through the following September. Those benefits are listed in the table beneath the Sponsorship Level table. Sponsorship Levels and Benefits Sponsors of GreenWorks Idaho and The Idaho Green Expo benefit in many ways, including the acknowledgement of their commitment to a better environment and the association with a widely publicized, positive, community-oriented event. Sponsors receive benefits based on the amount and type of contribution in the following categories:
Community Partners will get their logos on the Idaho Green Expo website’s Sponsor page and on the Sponsor Thank You Banner at the Expo. * Should two companies wish to share one Track sponsorship, the cost of the Half Track will be $2,750. Your radio mentions will be half the number of a full Track sponsorship, and your Program Guide ad size will be small. Each company will receive their own booth space. Sustaining Sponsorship Benefits: To receive the year-round benefits of being a Sustaining Sponsor, all you have to do is commit to your Sponsorship and begin making payments by September 30, 2010. The cost is the same as our regular Sponsorships. Payments can be arranged in a variety of options:
Additional Sponsorship opportunities often become available for different components of the Expo. Media outlets contributing less than $10,000 will still be listed as a Media Partner, but will receive the Sponsorship benefits consistent with the value of the donated media services. |
